If you grow past your cap
You won't be auto-upgraded or locked out. Each member above your tier's cap is billed at $8.99/mo as a metered add-on, prorated per billing cycle. When your overage runs three months in a row, we send a one-click prompt to move up a tier — never a forced upgrade.

Is Solo Mat really free forever?
Yes. Up to 10 active members on a single location, no card, no trial timer. You only pay when you cross the cap or you want features Solo doesn’t carry.
What happens if I grow past my member cap?
14-day grace + email warnings at 80 / 90 / 100 / 105 / 110%. After that you pick: upgrade your tier, or pay $8.99/member/month overage. No auto-upgrade. No data lockout.
Are there annual or multi-year discounts?
Yes — toggle the cycle above. Annual saves ~20% (rounded to a clean $/mo equivalent); the 2-year cadence saves ~25%. Both bill up-front and cancel mid-term refunds you the unused months.
Can I switch tiers anytime?
Both directions. Upgrades take effect immediately and prorate the remaining month. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period so you don’t lose features mid-month.
What counts as a "member"?
Anyone with an active gym_membership row — i.e. on a real plan with you. Archived / cancelled members stop counting the day you archive them. Drop-ins on a Nomad pass don’t count toward your cap.
Do you support multiple gym locations?
Single location is Solo / Academy / Black Belt / Affiliate. Multi-location with cross-location rollups is the Network tier (custom pricing — talk to a founder).
